JANNE MALMROS
PART I I:
29 JANUARY - 20 FEBRUARY 2010 | Opening Reception: Friday 29th JANUARY 6-8pm
ARTIST STATEMENT:
Janne Malmros uses assemblage and adaptation, combined with drawing, screen-printing and elements of photographic processes to create playful, subtle and quasi-alchemical work through a subtle awareness of materials, form and the varying poetic weights of different objects. She is interested in disappearance through appearance, repetition, perception, mimicry and transformation especially in relation to found and constructed patterns and shapes.
